Who we are and how we help

At Maison Mosaik, all our programs
and services are FREE!

Programs at Mosaik are focused around children’s global development with a particular emphasis on language development and school readiness. For parents, we offer support and help while they build confidence and vital parenting skills. We are an inclusive Centre welcoming all families including new immigrants and refugee claimants. We are an important site for community building and creating bonds of friendship and support for our families.
Maison Mosaik will always maintain its core programs, but we also adapt, change, and respond to the needs and requests of our participants and start new programs that meet the needs of our community quickly. We offer real, complete and comprehensive services and support to families, especially the most vulnerable, isolated and/or marginalized.

Our History

The Comité communautaire petite enfance NDG-MTL-O (CCPE) was established to identify needs within the community. They saw the need for a place where children and families could meet and to address the needs of young children 0 to 5 and their families, to improve their health and social well-being. This resulted in the founding of Mosaïk Family Resource Centre in 2004. The Centre created an environment that provides a wide range of programs addressing the many dimensions of family life within a multicultural community and so much more.

Our Misson

The Mosaik Family Resource Centre is a non-profit organization that links families, residing in the territories of Notre-Dame de Grace, Montreal Ouest, Cote St. Luc, Hampstead and Snowdon, in an informal environment of mutual respect and support to affirm their role in society to enable them to enrich the quality of their lives within the community.

We believe in:

The inherent worth of each and every human being and his/her contributions.
